Earthquake in Delhi NCR 

The earthquake occurred at 1.57 am on Wednesday in Nepal, roughly 90 km east-southeast of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). 

Near Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, and the Nepalese border, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake has struck.

Late on Tuesday night, a strong tremor was reported throughout North India, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and more.

six people died as a result of it.

Strong earthquakes were detected in Lucknow as well as nearby towns like Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram.

The Himalayan area of Uttarakhand and neighbouring Nepal have seen low-intensity earthquakes recently.

According to the USGS, the earthquake's epicentre was 21 kilometres from Dipayal in Nepal.
