The killer has become one of the most notorious murderers in history.
One of the most renowned and prolific serial murderers in US history, Jeffrey Dahmer was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal for his horrifying murders.
In order to ostensibly satiate his own sexual cravings, Dahmer killed at least 17 individuals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, between 1978 and 1991; the majority of them were gay men of colour.
After drugging, torturing, and killing his victims—some of whom were as young as 14—he would either consume their remains or save some of their corpses in his apartment for later use in sex practises.
The murderer’s crimes weren’t discovered until one potential victim, 32-year-old Tracy Edwards, managed to flee from Dahmer’s residence. Edwards returned to Dahmer’s house after the latter paid him $100 to pose for pictures.
